Study for the Red Seal exam from anywhere
You do not need to be in Canada to start. Red Seal Hub lets you learn the Canadian trade standards, practice questions, and prepare for the Red Seal exam from your home country, on your own schedule.
Our voice study partner works in many languages. You can ask a question in your language, hear the answer back, and see the matching Canadian trade terms side by side, so you learn the words you will actually use on a Canadian job site.
- Practice questions and study materials built around the real Red Seal trades
- Voice answers and trade-term translation in a wide range of languages
- Works on your phone, wherever you are in the world
- No certification hours or Canadian residency required to start studying
Studying from abroad is available today. You can build your skills and trade vocabulary now, long before any immigration step.
How the Red Seal helps with your move to Canada
Canada needs skilled trades workers, and trade qualifications can strengthen your profile when you apply through Canadian immigration. Showing that you have studied the Canadian standards and are working toward a Red Seal can be a real advantage.
To be clear about what we are: Red Seal Hub gives you general information and study tools. We are not immigration lawyers or consultants, and nothing here is legal or immigration advice. For advice about your specific case, you need a licensed professional, which is where the next section comes in.
- Learn the Canadian trade standards employers and assessors look for
- Build a record of study and progress you can point to
- Understand at a high level how trade skills fit into your plans
Finding and verifying a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC)
Only a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) or a Canadian immigration lawyer is legally allowed to give you immigration advice or represent you for a fee. We help you find and check these professionals, and we surface verified ones to you.
Every consultant we surface is checked: we confirm their RCIC number against the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) registry, confirm the license is active, and review their standing. You can and should also verify any consultant yourself on the public CICC registry.
- Look for the verified badge on a consultant before reaching out
- Note their RCIC license number from their profile
- Search that number on the public CICC registry to confirm it is active
- Only work with someone whose license you have confirmed
Avoid "ghost consultants": unlicensed people who offer cheap immigration help. They can put your application, and your future in Canada, at serious risk. Always confirm RCIC licensing first.
What we do, and what we do not do
We want this to be crystal clear so you always know what to expect from Red Seal Hub.
We inform you, help you study, and connect you to verified professionals. We do not place you in a job, and we do not file, process, or handle any immigration application for you.
- We do: help you study for the Red Seal exam from anywhere, in your language
- We do: share general, high-level information about how trades fit into Canadian immigration
- We do: surface and match you to verified RCICs you can choose to contact
- We do not: give immigration or legal advice ourselves
- We do not: recruit you, place you in a job, or process your immigration application
Coming soon: a guided questionnaire to help you find your next stepComing soon
We are building a short, friendly questionnaire you can answer in your own language, by voice or text. It asks simple things like your trade, where you are now, where you would like to work, and what you have already done.
Based on your answers, it points you toward sensible next steps and surfaces verified consultants who fit your situation. It is here to organize your thinking and connect you with the right people. It does not give immigration or legal advice, and it never decides anything for you.
- Answer in your own language, by voice or by typing
- Get plain language next steps, not legal opinions
- See verified consultants matched to your trade, language, and chosen province
- Keep full control: you choose who, if anyone, to contact
When this is ready, any next step it suggests is just a starting point. A licensed consultant or lawyer is the only one who can advise on your actual case.
Coming soon: book and pay a verified consultant inside Red Seal HubComing soon
Soon you will be able to see a verified consultant profile, pick a time that works, and pay for the consultation without leaving Red Seal Hub. Every consultant you can book will have passed our checks, and their RCIC license number stays on their profile so you can confirm it on the public CICC registry first.
We are also adding deeper trust checks, such as identity confirmation and background review, on top of the license check we already do. Even with all of that, you stay in charge: you choose the consultant, and the advice you receive comes from that licensed professional, not from us.
- See real availability and book a time that suits you
- Pay securely in one place, with no need to hand money to anyone off the platform
- Every bookable consultant is license checked, with the number shown for you to verify
- Added identity and background checks for extra peace of mind
Never pay a consultant outside the platform or before confirming their license. If anything feels off, do not proceed and let us know.
